Questions
Asked, and answered.
General
What does NewHouse Energies do?
We are an indigenous Nigerian energy services company across three tiers: energy solutions (solar, storage, power infrastructure), oilfield services (pipeline pre-commissioning, hydrotesting, pigging, well intervention, coil tubing), and international technology lines delivered through the NewHouse International Group.
Where do you operate?
Throughout Nigeria — the Niger Delta (Rivers, Delta, Imo, Akwa Ibom), the western corridor (Lagos, Ogun), Abuja, and offshore/swamp locations. International reach comes through NewHouse International.
How long have you been in business?
Over twenty-five years of field operations, with leadership carrying additional decades at Halliburton, Baker Hughes, and Geoplex.
Services
What pipeline sizes can you handle?
From 4-inch flowlines to 30-inch trunk lines — our longest single campaign to date is 48 kilometres.
Do you work offshore and in swamp locations?
Yes. Swamp and offshore work requires specific equipment and logistics planning — both are documented in our project record.
How do I know what size solar system I need?
Start with our free Solar Sizing calculator — it converts your actual appliance list into panel, battery, and inverter sizes with an honest ₦ range. For a binding quote, we conduct a metered site audit.
Safety
What is your safety record?
Zero fatalities, zero lost-time injuries, zero road traffic accidents, and zero spills across four audited reporting years and 783,266 man-hours. The full table is published on our QHSE page.
Do you hold QHSE certifications and permits?
We hold current NUPRC permits for our scope and operate a documented QHSE management system; references are available to procurement teams and in our downloadable company profile.
Engagement
How do I get a quote?
Use the four-step quote form, call, or message us on WhatsApp — an engineer, not a salesperson, replies within one working day.
Do you offer lump-sum or day-rate pricing?
Both. The model depends on scope, duration, and your preference — we recommend the structure that carries the least risk for the job.
Do you own your equipment?
Yes — triplex and centrifugal pumps, storage tanks, hoses, manifolds, recorders, generators, and lifting equipment. Owned fleet means no third-party delays and full quality control.
Do you really turn down work?
Yes. Where a scope compromises safety, timeline honesty, or our standard, we decline — that is how the record stays at zero.
Tools
Are the calculators really free?
Completely — no registration, no gates. The only optional capture is 'email me my results.' They are our contribution to the industry, and our introduction.
Can I rely on the calculator outputs?
Each tool shows its methodology, cites its standards, and discloses editable assumptions — treat results as strong indicative engineering, then verify against your project specification.
