Four years, zero LTI: inside our QHSE system
24 June 2026 · Mrs. Adejumoke "Jumoke" Oyedun, Chief Executive Officer
The unglamorous routines behind the number every tender asks for.
Every serious tender asks for the same number: lost-time injuries. Ours has been zero for four years across pipeline, well, and power operations. That figure is not luck, and it is not a slogan on a wall. It is the output of a set of routines that are, frankly, unglamorous.
Safety is a system, not a poster
A good QHSE record is produced the same way a good weld is: by following a procedure the same way every time, and recording that you did. The number every client reads is downstream of dozens of small, repeated habits.
The routines that produce the number
- Toolbox talks before every job — the crew states the hazards of today's task in their own words, not a generic list.
- Job safety analysis for each scope, updated when the scope changes, not filed once and forgotten.
- Permit-to-work discipline, so no one starts an energised, confined-space, or hot-work task without a signed control.
- Incident and near-miss reporting that is genuinely blame-free, because the near-miss you hide is the injury you repeat.
You do not rise to the level of your safety policy. You fall to the level of your daily routines.

Why the boring parts matter
The documentation is not bureaucracy for its own sake. When an operator pre-qualifies us, they are not reading our intentions — they are reading our audit trail. A QHSE management system with a real, dated record is the difference between claiming a safety culture and evidencing one.
The same trail protects our own people first and our clients' assets second. Four years of zero lost-time injuries means four years in which every engineer who mobilised came home, and every client's site stayed incident-free.
The record, in the open
We publish our QHSE indicators rather than assert them, because a number you can check is worth more than a number you are asked to believe. You can see the current figures on our QHSE page — and hold us to them on your next tender.
